Terms & Conditions

These terms apply to online reservations and self-drive Quad Bike and Dune Buggy experiences with SandsXtremeAdventures. Last updated August 2026.

1. Reservations

Online bookings reserve a self-drive time slot for Quad Bike or Dune Buggy experiences operated by SandsXtremeAdventures.
A booking is confirmed only after you receive a confirmation email with a unique confirmation code.
Ride slots are available from 07:00 AM to 07:00 PM, 7 days a week, subject to weather, safety, and operational availability.

Starting prices shown on the website are in AED and may vary by duration, vehicle type, and number of riders/vehicles.
Final payable amount will be confirmed by our team. Payment methods accepted at camp or as advised in your confirmation email.
Promotional rates, if any, apply only when stated in writing at the time of booking.

Guests must arrive at least 20 minutes before the reserved slot for registration, briefing, and safety gear fitting.
All riders must follow guide instructions, marked routes, and safety rules at all times.
Helmets and required safety gear must be worn for the full duration of the ride.
SandsXtremeAdventures may refuse participation if a guest appears unfit to ride, ignores safety instructions, or endangers others.

Quad Bike: 1–2 riders per quad. Minimum age 16 (under 18 requires guardian consent). No driving licence required.
Dune Buggy: 2 seater and 4 seater options. Driver minimum age 18. Passenger minimum age 6. No driving licence required.
Guests must be in reasonable physical condition for off-road desert activity. Closed-toe footwear is required.
A valid photo ID must be presented before the ride.

Please contact us as early as possible to change or cancel a reservation.
Cancellations made less than 24 hours before the slot may be non-refundable.
No-shows forfeit the reserved slot unless otherwise agreed in writing.
If we cancel due to weather, safety, or operational reasons, we will offer a reschedule or refund of prepaid amounts (if any).

Desert conditions can change quickly. Routes, duration, or vehicle allocation may be adjusted for safety.
In extreme weather or sandstorm conditions, rides may be delayed, shortened, or cancelled at management discretion.

Self-drive desert riding involves inherent risks including uneven terrain, sand, heat, and vehicle handling.
By booking and participating, you acknowledge these risks and agree to ride responsibly.
To the fullest extent permitted by UAE law, SandsXtremeAdventures is not liable for loss, injury, or damage arising from guest negligence, failure to follow instructions, or unforeseeable desert conditions.
Guests are responsible for personal belongings. We recommend not bringing valuables onto vehicles.

Guests must treat vehicles and gear with care.
Damage caused by reckless driving, misuse, or ignoring guide instructions may be charged to the guest at repair or replacement cost.

We collect name, email, phone, and booking details to confirm reservations and communicate with you.
Contact and booking information may be used to send confirmation emails and respond to enquiries.
We do not sell your personal data to third parties.
